Armed robbery investigation leads to arrest

BRODHEAD (WKOW) -- Brodhead Police and Green County Deputies say they arrested a man who robbed a bar early Thursday morning.

An employee of M&J's Tavern reported to Brodhead Police that the business was robbed shortly after closing time by a male armed with a handgun. He got away with an unknown amount of money.

An investigation led to the arrest of 55-year-old Richard W. Parot of Brodhead. He was taken into custody around 9:00 Thursday morning and taken to Green County Jail.

Parot faces charges of robbery and victim intimidation.
