MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison man is arrested for his sixth drunk driving incident.
Madison Police say officers were conducting a traffic enforcement on School and Wheeler Roads Thursday afternoon when they saw a vehicle going north on School in the southbound lane. Officers say the vehicle stopped for no reason in the middle of the road.
Police say the driver, Julio Garrido, 61, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated - 6th offense, a probation violation, operating left of center, operating after revocation - 3rd offense and failure to have an Ignition Interlocking Device installed.
Investigators say Garrido tested at 10 times the legal limit at .20. The legal limit for someone with five prior OWI convictions is .02.
