MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- More than 800 runners from 21 states are expected in Milwaukee this weekend.
The fifth annual Icebreaker Indoor Marathon will be at the Pettit National Ice Center from Friday through Sunday.
There will be a 5K race on Friday night, a half marathon and a marathon relay on Saturday and a full marathon on Sunday.
There are also 40 runners who will compete for the Gold Medal Challenge, which is the half marathon Saturday and the full marathon Sunday.
The track is 443 meters -- the largest indoor running track in the nation. Runners have to complete 95.4 laps for the marathon and 47.7 for the half marathon. The 5k is about 11 laps.
There's also a marathon relay, where teams of two to four must finish 95.4 laps.
