MADISON (WKOW) -- A stray cat recently found in Oregon needs a fur-ever home.

"She-Ra" is an affectionate adult cat who loves to be around people. She's at the Dane County Humane Society and they're searching for a home for her.

DCHS is also hosting a skating event Monday, January 21, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Skate to Donate is at Hartmeyer Ice Arena at 1834 Commercial Avenue from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. You can meet and skate with Wisconsin native and Speedskating Gold Medalist Casey FitzRandolph.

If you donate an item on DCHS's wish list, you can skate for free. All proceeds raised go to DCHS.
