MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Jazz Society opens its 2013 spring concert series.
The spring concert series will be on Sunday, January 27 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Coliseum Bar at 232 East Olin Avenue in Madison.
The concert will feature the jazz bands from Madison West, Sun Prairie and Verona High Schools.
The concert provides the opportunity to see how grants awarded by the Society's Memorial School Grant Fund benefit students.
Tickets for this concert are $10 per person and those age 18 and younger are admitted free. Doors open at noon.
Linda Marty Schmitz, president of the Madison Jazz Society, joins Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend.
