Altoona (WQOW) - A Bloomer man who spent the last nine years in custody for sexually assaulting a child will return to live in the Chippewa Valley.
Altoona police say James Bakeman will move into a residence at 612 Loring Street on Tuesday. Bakeman was convicted of three counts of sexual assault of a child in 2003. Twelve years before that he was also convicted of child sexual assault.
Bakeman will on supervision for the next 31-years, and will be on lifetime GPS monitoring.
