MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- The husband of a Wauwatosa police officer has pleaded not guilty in her murder.
Benjamin Sebena, 30, is charged with first degree intentional homicide in the death of Officer Jennifer Sebena. She was on-duty when she was killed Christmas Eve.
Officer Sebena was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds to the head near her squad car. Several of her wounds were fired from her own police firearm.
Sebena, an Iraq War veteran, was in a wheelchair during his arraignment Thursday morning. He was wearing a suicide-prevention vest. Sebena's defense attorney entered the not guilty plea on his behalf.
A criminal complaint alleges Benjamin Sebena told investigators he was a jealous husband.
A trial date will be set March 1.
