MADISON (WKOW) -- It now appears Wisconsin will have a budget surplus of nearly a half-billion dollars this year.
That's $136 million more than the Walker administration projected in November.
Thursday, the nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau reported the surplus at $484 million.
Earlier this week, Governor Walker announced plans for a $340 million income tax cut in his next budget, which he releases February 20.
