Falls (Press Release) - Gordy's County
Market has announced that it will be opening its 10th location in
Rice Lake.
The new 61,000-square-foot store will take over the majority of the
former K-Mart store space and bring new life to 2601 South Main
Street. Construction is
estimated to take 4-5 months and the store will open in early summer.
President
Jeff Schafer is excited about being able to bring great value and high quality
meat, produce, deli and bakery departments to Rice Lake.
"We are honored to
have the opportunity to serve the customers of Rice Lake," Schafer said. "We plan on offering our high quality products
at the bottom line prices we have become known for."
When completed the new Gordy's County Market
location will bring an estimated 100 jobs to the community of Rice Lake.
Customers can expect the same great
quality and features as other Gordy's locations. Customers can look forward to
a full-service deli, Gordy's homemade smokehouse meats, bakery, grocery, produce
and meat departments. The new location will also feature a Gordy's Valley
Spirits liquor department offering the same bottom line pricing and value that customers
have come to expect.

says Schafer. "This expansion will allow us to serve the citizens of Rice Lake
and the surrounding communities with quality products, friendly employees, and
