WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKOW) -- U.S. Congressman Paul Ryan(R-WI) says Republicans need to stay united and pick their fights during President Barack Obama's second term.
Ryan was the GOP's vice presidential nominee in the 2012 presidential election. He told conservatives at Saturday gathering that Republicans need to reject the president's proposals in some cases and make them better in others.
The speech was to the National Review Institute in Washington, D.C.
Ryan said President Obama will try to divide Republicans and that GOP lawmakers "can't get rattled" and shouldn't "play the villain in his morality plays."
