MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- A change comes to the famous cream puffs at the Wisconsin State Fair.
Golden Guernsey has been the cream supplier for over 80 years and now adjustments are being made since the Golden Guernsey Plant closed earlier this month.
According to WISN in Milwaukee, the makers of the cream puff now turn to a new supplier, another Wisconsin dairy company. A deal should be finalized this week.
"We have to make sure the cream puffs are always there for all our fans all across Wisconsin and it's my number one concern," says David Schmidt, CEO at the Wisconsin Bakers Association.
The Wisconsin State Fair went through 375,000 cream puffs last year.
