TOWNSHIP OF WINDSOR (WKOW) – A Dane County Deputy arrested a Poynette man for his 4 OWI late Saturday night.
The Deputy attempted to make contact with the driver of a vehicle in the parking lot of a business located on County Highway CV, near State Highway 19. Authorities identified the driver as 30-year-old Jason L. Leatherberry.
Prior to any contact made by the deputy, Leatherberry exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Authorities said he was located in a nearby business.
Officials said Leatherberry failed standardized field sobriety tests and was arrested for his 4 OWI offense. The most recent offense is considered a felony because it happened within five years of his last offense.
Authorities said Leatherberry was also arrested for obstructing and is currently being held at the Dane County Jail.
