Madison (WQOW) -- It wasn't always pretty, but the Wisconsin basketball team was able to take down #12 Minnesota 45-44 at the Kohl Center on Saturday.
Despite picking up the win, the Badgers continue to struggle on the offensive end. The team shot just 37-percent from the field in scoring those 45 points. Coach Bo Ryan isn't happy about his team's shooting, but he does find some humor in it.
"One of these games we're going to make the nets move," says Ryan. "Times are tough all over and financially, we're saving a lot of money here at the university 'cause our nets last 10 years. These nets this year will be around 10 years, compared to other gyms where they last a year or two. What, do you think our guys are in the locker room going, 'Man, didn't we shoot the lights out?' We might shoot better if the lights went out."
The Badgers face 14th-ranked Ohio State on Tuesday.
