BELLEVUE (WKOW) -- Brown County authorities say two people who witnessed a traffic collision were knocked off an overpass and injured after they stopped to help.
The sheriff's department says the collisions occurred just after midnight Sunday in Bellevue. A car and SUV collided, leaving the SUV partially in the traffic lane.
A Green Bay Press-Gazette report says another driver and passenger stopped to check on the people involved. While they assisted the occupants of the SUV a minivan struck it, launching the two responders off the overpass and into a ditch.
One person suffered serious injuries. The other had injuries considered non-life threatening.
The two people in the SUV and a passenger in the minivan were also treated for non-life threatening injuries. The two people in the car were unhurt.
