MADISON (WKOW) -- Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and other officials have been subpoenaed as part of a redistricting case.
Two groups had sued the state over the state's latest election maps, which were drawn by Republicans. The state was required to turn over certain documents for the case, but not all were handed over in a timely manner.
A Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report says the plaintiffs now want to search the relevant computers to see whether any other documents were improperly withheld. But the groups say they're not being told where those computers are.
So they sought subpoenas for Vos and others in hopes of finding the computers.
Vos said last week he didn't know anything about where they were.
