MADISON (WKOW) -- Occupy Madison is dealing with several setbacks.
First, the group's offer for an old office building on Fordem Avenue was rejected. Members are trying to find a permanent location where they can start a housing cooperative to help the homeless. Occupy advocates say they're now looking for another place. Occupy Madison, Inc. has already raised $11,000 toward that effort. The group hosted a fundraiser Tuesday night to raise more money.

have about 20 people we're trying to house right now, but we know that
it's more like 400 people who actually need housing," says Brenda
Konkel.
Organizers say it's hard to find shelter for homeless members of Occupy. Some have gone to day shelters but have given up their spots to families in need.
The group had another setback on Tuesday when their camp at Token Creek Park flooded during the rainstorm.
The Occupy campers have to leave Token Creek Park by February 17.
