Three people rescued from stranded vehicle on Lake Koshkonong

MILTON TOWNSHIP (WKOW) -- Rescue crews were dispatched to Dallman's Landing for a water rescue.

Three people were stranded in an Argo Conquest, an 8-wheel drive machine made to go on ice and open water. They were trying to retrieve an ice shanty off of Lake Koshkonong when their vehicle became stuck between ice and open water on the lake.

Members of the Rock County Sheriff's Office Recreational Safety Team, along with members of the Milton Fire Department, deployed in their Airboat and were able to make contact with the individuals and transport them back to Dallman's Landing.

The Argo Conquest was left on the lake and will be picked up Wednesday morning by the Rock County Sheriff's Office Recreational Safety Team.
