TOWN OF SIGEL (WKOW) -- Three family members died in a house fire early Wednesday morning in the Town of Sigel.

Wood County Coroner Garry Kronstedt says an elderly couple and their adult son were killed. Local emergency responders were called to the house at about 2:30 a.m.

Firefighters from Vesper, Pittsville, Arpin, Rudolph, Grand Rapids, Nekoosa and Port Edwards helped extinguish the fire.
