MONROE (WKOW) -- The inmate who died while in jail was a teenager.
The Green County Sheriff's Office has identified the inmate as Kyle S. Peotter, 17. His last known address was in Freeport, Illinois. Peotter died at the Green County Jail Wednesday.
He had been an inmate since September 2012 and was being held on Probation Hold issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.
An autopsy on Wednesday shows initial indications are Peotter died from a medical condition. The final report is pending the results of toxicology tests.
Monroe Police are investigating the death.
