Two people busted for drugs in Ladysmith

Ladysmith (Press Release) - On January 30, 2013 the Ladysmith Police Department and the Rusk County Sheriff's Department executed two search warrants at two separate locations in the City of Ladysmith. 

Two subjects remain in custody for possession of methamphetamine. During the course of the investigation approximately ½ ounce of meth was located, a large amount of cash, marijuana, prescription medications, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.  

Tina L. Hess, 50, of Ladysmith was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and four counts of felony bail jumping.   

Roy L. Westergaard, 55, of Ladysmith was arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.   

Other charges will be referred to the Rusk County District Attorney's Office.
