Eau Claire (WQOW) - Jail time is ordered for two more men accused of burglarizing a church and trashing a house in Barron County.
Wesley Gallipo got two months behind bars during sentencing this week while Brandon Nickell got three months. They must also pay restitution for the $50,000 in damage done to the house.
Police say Gallipo, Nickell and another man broke into the vacant home that was in foreclosure and smashed the walls to steal copper wiring. Ceiling fans were also torn down and a hot tub was damaged when they allegedly tried to steal it until it turned out to be too heavy. They were also accused of burglarizing the Dovre Lutheran Church.
