Altoona (WQOW) - A toddler is safe and his father is in the Eau Claire County jail.
Altoona police say Kevin Tadder was arrested Thursday. Police say he disappeared with his two-year-old son from Juneau County in September in the midst of a custody dispute. Investigators figured out that Tadder was staying at a home on Devney Drive in Altoona.
He was arrested after being spotted in a business parking lot on Fairfax Street in Altoona. The child was ok and was turned over to social workers. Tadder is in custody and could be charged with interfering with child custody.
