UPDATE: Janesville shooting victim in stable condition

JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Mercy Hospital Trauma Center officials say the 27-year-old shooting victim is in stable condition Saturday afternoon.

The 27-year-old male victim was shot in the neck Friday night on the 2800 block of Afton Road in Janesville.


JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- Police in Janesville say they've arrested a man for an attempted homicide.

34-year-old Deadrick Vance is now behind bars.

Police were called to the 2800 block of Afton Road for a report of a shooting. They found a 27-year-old man had been shot in the neck.

He was taken to the Mercy Hospital Trauma Center where he is being treated for life threatening injuries.
