MADISON (WKOW) -- Police say they believe the same man is responsible for robbing two businesses on the city's east side.
The first happened just after 1 p.m. Friday at the Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio on East Towne Boulevard. Police say the man fled the store after getting money.
Then around 4:15 p.m., police say the man robbed the Madison Tanning Company on Lien Road. Police say he grabbed money from the cash register before taking off in an SUV that officers say was similar to a Scion.
