Eau Claire (WQOW) - Some folks had family and friends
over to watch the big game on Super Bowl Sunday, others made their way to area
bars and restaurants.
Eau Claire is over 1,000 miles away from New Orleans where this year's game was played.
Yet you could still see a Ravens jersey at places like Milwaukee Burger Company.
But the atmosphere was much quieter this year, since the green and gold weren't
in the game.
"I
was surprised; I thought it was going to be really busy you know? But I guess,
I mean the Packers aren't playing so people are just at home watching, or
finding something else to do. It's just like a normal Sunday night here,"
said Vanessa Lloyd, a waitress at Milwaukee Burger Company.
