Incident: One
vehicle (semi) rollover with minor injury on State Highway 29 Chippewa County.

Summary: On
Monday February 4th, 2013 at about 12:03 a.m. the Chippewa County
Sheriff's Office received a report of a one vehicle rollover on State Highway 29 westbound near
mile marker 96 involving a semi tractor and flat bed trailer loaded with tires. The semi
tractor and trailer blocked both lanes of westbound traffic. The load of tires
had spilled prolonging cleanup time and road clearing. Sheriff's Deputies, Boyd
Fire and Rescue, Stanley Police Department, and the Chippewa County Highway
Department were dispatched to the scene.
Traffic was rerouted and the semi tractor operator John F.
Drewa, was transported by Boyd Rescue to an area hospital for minor injuries.
The semi tractor, trailer, and load were removed and the
highway reopened at 7:53 AM. No
photographs are available at this time.

Chippewa County (WisDOT) - Westbound lanes of highway 29 are open again at mile marker 96 near Boyd.
Early Monday morning, a semi rollover closed both lanes of westbound traffic. The crash is still under investigation.

Chippewa County (WisDOT) - According to the Wisconsin DOT, all westbound lanes of Highway 29 at mile marker 96 near Boyd are closed due to a traffic incident.
The following detour is suggested: traffic should exit at County D, then follow County X westbound back onto WIS 29.
The incident was supposed to be cleared by 2:30 AM but crews are still on scene.
