EAU CLAIRE - The Western Dairyland Women's Business Center will host a Women's Business Network meeting with guest speaker Kristin Verhaagh, inventor and founder of Kristin Kai Designs, on Thursday, February 14th. The meeting is free to attend and will take place from noon to 1 p.m. at the Western Dairyland Community Action Agency, 418 Wisconsin Street, Eau Claire.
In preparation for the 10th Annual Women's Business Conference, Verhaagh will be sharing her experience in professional staging and business redesign. She will discuss how to style your products and services in an effective display that will draw prospective clients to you and your business. Business owners interested in exhibiting at the 2013 Women's Business Conference on April 25, 2013 are encouraged to attend and will be given a $50 discount off the regular exhibitor registration fee to be redeemed the same day.
Verhaagh, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has several years of experience in home staging and redesign. In 2005, she founded Kristin Kai Designs, which assists sellers in marketing their homes in a time effective and budget friendly manner. Verhaagh specializes in real estate staging, business redesign, and visual merchandising. Through personal study of design, Verhaagh has developed a professional touch along with a passion for staging and decorating which has brought her many repeat customers and referrals.
Women's Business Network meetings are free and open to the public. They take place over the lunch hour on the second Thursday of each month. Participants are encouraged to bring their own bag lunch and plenty of business cards. The goal of the meetings is to facilitate networking relationships among women business owners, allowing them to expand their small business knowledge. The structure of the meetings will allow participants to learn from an expert in the field and from each other's shared experiences.
