SAWYER COUNTY - A jury started hearing testimony Monday afternoon in the trial of a northern Wisconsin man charged with murder.
Trial started Monday for Marvin Corbine Jr. He's charged in the stabbing death of John McDaniel, whose brother was also stabbed and critically hurt.
The stabbing happened in 2011 on the Lac Court Oreilles Reservation near Hayward. Detectives say Corbine and others went to the victim's home early in the morning and attacked them.
The other man charged in the stabbing, Caleb Miller, has been convicted and will be sentenced in March.
