Madison Edgewood grad Mackenzie Reese hits game-winner

AUGUSTA, GA -- Madison Edgewood High School grad Mackenzie Reese hit the game winning 3-point shot last Saturday at the buzzer, as her USC-Aiken team beat Augusta State in Division II. USC-Aiken was down two to their bitter rivals on the road, but the ball was advanced down court to Reese, who sunk the shot as the buzzer sounded. Reese was a 2011 graduate of Madison Edgewood, and is currently a sophomore at USC-Aiken in South Carolina. The Pacers are the 6th ranked D-2 team in the country.
