Madison (WQOW) -- Wisconsin football coach Gary Andersen introduces his first recruiting class Wednesday.
Andersen didn't have a lot of time from when he got the job to signing day, but he's happy with the result.
"I think all the coaches did a tremendous job, it was a team effort," Andersen says, "the areas are scattered, it's very unconventional recruiting, when you take over a job in the time frame that we did to solidify a class. I'm proud of the staff and proud of the young men for helping us with the recruiting process."
Wisconsin's recruiting class includes Brookfield East defensive end Alec James, whom ESPN had him ranked as the number one player from the state. The Badgers also get a commitment from New Jersey running back Corey Clement, who was rated as a four-star prospect.
