MADISON (WKOW) -- Police in Madison are looking for the men they say robbed another man at gunpoint Wednesday night.
Officers were called to the Super 8 Motel on Hayes Road around 6:30 p.m. They say the victim reported four men were in his room earlier in the day with his permission, but returned later and robbed him of cash at gunpoint.
The victim gave police a license plate of the suspect vehicle, which was later stopped by police in Sun Prairie. The driver of the vehicle was held for questioning.
Police say this does not appear to be a random robbery.
