WINDSOR (WKOW) -- The name of the man killed in a three vehicle crash in the Town of Windsor, near DeForest, Tuesday night has been released.
The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office says 33-year-old Aaron Schneider, from Hollandale, was killed Tuesday night around 9:20 p.m. in a crash on Highway 51, south of Vinburn Road.
Investigators say Schneider was driving south on Highway 51 in the northbound lane, when he hit two vehicles going north. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other drivers, both women, were taken to local hospitals to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say Schneider's death was the result of the injuries sustained in the traffic crash, but that additional toxicology testing is underway at this time. Deputies believe alcohol and speed may have been factors in the crash.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office and the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the crash.
