Eau Claire (WQOW) - One of the men convicted in the baseball bat beating of another man is going to jail.
Cody Copeland-Struensee was sentenced Wednesday in Clark County. He got six months and must help pay for the victim's $36,000 in medical expenses and lost wages.
Alexander Lee and Robert Stargardt are already serving prison sentences.
Lee was accused of planning the attack because he was upset that Lance Poeschel forced him to move out of the home they shared. Stargardt was convicted of hitting Poeschel 20 to 30 times with an aluminum baseball bat. He suffered four broken bones and other injuries.
