Public meetings scheduled for possible pipeline project

Western Wisconsin (WQOW) - The public will soon get a chance to weigh in on a potential natural gas pipeline project in western Wisconsin.

We Energies is evaluating routes between Eau Claire County and Tomah.  It plans to seek approval from the Wisconsin Public Service Commission this year.  The initial investment could hit $150 million.

Three meetings have been scheduled for the public to learn more about the proposed project and provide feedback.

Monday, Feb. 11th - Black River Falls (Comfort Inn & Suites; W10170 Highway 54)

Tuesday, Feb. 12th - Augusta (Lions Hall - 200 E. Lincoln St.)

Wednesday, Feb. 13th - Warrens (Three Bears Resort - 701 Yogi Circle)

Each meeting will be held between 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.  We Energies says you can stop by at your convenience.
