MADISON (WKOW) -- Officials with the University of Wisconsin system told the Board of Regents it has lost an additional $1.1 million because of glitches in its new payroll and benefits system.
This comes after the UW system made $33 million in overpayments for employee health insurance premiums and pension contributions over the past two years.
Officials say they have recovered about $20 million so far.
System president Kevin Reilly warned the Regents on Thursday that more reviews by staff members, an independent analyst and the state auditor are likely to find more issues and possibly more missing money.
