MADISON (WKOW) -- The wife of a homicide suspect has been booked into the Dane County Jail.
Jail officials tell 27 News Shannon L. Remus was brought into Dane County just before 9:00 p.m. Thursday. She's charged with Hiding a Corpse in the death of Matthew Graville.
Detectives went to McChord, Washington on Tuesday and took Remus into custody at the Lewis-McChord joint military base where she was stationed as a Military Police Officer in the U.S. Army. Remus waived her extradition hearing on Wednesday.
Remus has denied any involvement in the Graville, the half-brother of her husband, Jeffrey Vogelsberg. Vogelsberg is accused of killing Graville, then burying his body in rural Sauk County. Police say interviews and court testimony confirm Remus knew about Graville's murder and where he was buried.
