MADISON (WKOW) Hundreds of piano students took their turn at the keys on Saturday for the 21st annual Key Up For Kids piano playing marathon at Barnes and Noble in west Madison.
The event is a fundraiser for American Family Children's Hospital's Child Life program, with the funds going towards toys, games, and supplies for art and music activities for young patients at the hospital.
"This event allows our students the opportunity to have a positive impact on thousands of children in our community," said Connie Jones of Madison Area Friends for Piano.
Key Up For Kids has raised $200,000 over the past 20 years.
Participating piano students collected pledges to support young patients and their families and donations were also accepted at Saturday's event.
