Ninth water main break for city of Eau Claire so far this year

Eau Claire (WQOW) - Yet another water main break in the city of Eau Claire forces a detour, this time on the north side.

According to the city's Facebook page, a water main broke around noon today on the 3100 block of Anderson Drive. Traffic was detoured as repair crews fixed the break. The city says the street will be temporarily patched sometime in the next week or two. In the meantime, they have barricades along that part of the street to warn drivers of the gravel patch. 

According to the city's Facebook page, this is the ninth water main break so far this year.
