Madison Police investigate report of shots fired early Saturday morning near tavern

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police are investigating a report of shots fired near a tavern on the city's east side early Saturday morning.

A caller reported hearing three to four gun shots around 12:45 a.m. Saturday on the 600 block of North Street.

When officers searched the area, they couldn't find any evidence of gunfire. Another neighbor did approach the officers though, saying they heard suspected gunfire.
