UWEC to announce chancellor finalists later this week

Eau Claire (Press Release) - UW System President Kevin Reilly is expected to announce Feb. 14 or 15 the names of five finalists in the UW-Eau Claire chancellor search.

Following the announcement, information about the candidates will be available on UW-Eau Claire's employment website.

The finalists will be invited to the UW-Eau Claire campus for visits later this month and in early March. Details of those visits, including the time for each candidate's open forum, will be posted online as the visit dates are confirmed.

Following the finalists' campus visits, they will interview later in March in Madison with Reilly and the special UW System Board of Regents committee for the UW-Eau Claire chancellor search. Following those interviews, Reilly will make a selection and make a recommendation to the Board of Regents. The Board of Regents will then make the official chancellor appointment during its April 4-5 meeting at UW-La Crosse.
