Eau Claire (WQOW) - An $85 million project is a watershed moment for downtown Eau Claire. Beginning tonight, WQOW News 18 will examine that project from top to bottom.
We'll explain what the project is, who the stakeholders are and what questions are being raised. A community arts center is a big part of the project and one question being asked is about parking. "If we'd have an event on a Thursday evening, they said, 'We can park in Phoenix Park.' No. There are no parking places in downtown Eau Claire on Thursday night," said Eau Claire City Council Member Bob Von Haden.
We'll hear how that question is being addressed tonight at 10 p.m. in "Eau Claire's Confluence Project: A Watershed Moment" on WQOW News 18.
