Sawyer County (WQOW) - The verdicts are in for a Sawyer County man charged with murder.
A jury has found Marvin Corbine Jr. guilty of reckless homicide in the stabbing death of John McDaniel. Corbine was also convicted of attempting to kill McDaniel's brother Derrick, who was stabbed and critically hurt.
The stabbings happened in 2011 on the Lac Court Oreilles Reservation near Hayward. Detectives said Corbine and Caleb Miller were part of a group of people that went to the victims home early in the morning and attacked them.
Corbine will be sentenced in May. Miller's sentencing is set for next month.
