Eau Claire (WQOW) - A local man is sentenced for having a large amount of marijuana sent to him through the U.S. mail.
Drug agents say Adam Vadnais had a package sent to his Eau Claire home last summer. They say it contained nearly 6 pounds of high-grade marijuana with a street value of about $24,000.
Investigators say Vadnais admitted he had planned to divide it into smaller packages and sell it. On Tuesday, the judge gave him up to four months in jail. He was also put on probation for two years.
