Eau Claire (WQOW) - Two men now face charges for a string of burglaries in Washburn County.

Tyler Lafferty and Brendan Maher are both from Minnesota. They're accused of breaking into 10 cabins, homes and buildings around Shell Lake and Spooner. The burglaries all happened about two weeks ago.

Guns and other valuables were stolen. The suspects were caught after an off-duty sheriff's deputy noticed a suspicious vehicle at a vacant farm near his home.
