Eau Claire (WQOW) - Valentine's Day brings thoughts of love, chocolates and flowers.

For some in Eau Claire those came in the form of special deliveries.

Fire fighters delivered flowers around the community, raising money for a special camp for kids recovering from burn injuries.

Over at Mayo Clinic Health System patients received a surprise with their lunch thanks to students at local elementary schools.

"I can actually visualize the kids having made these cards, how excited they are to use all these colors and to do something very special for someone else and it really brightens the day," says patient Linda Olson.

Olson is a teacher herself and says it's nice when kids are encouraged to share with their community and help others.
