BIG BEAR LAKE, CA (WKOW) -- Authorities in California have confirmed the body found in a burned cabin is fugitive Christopher Dorner.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office said investigators used dental records to identify the body.

Officials believed Dorner was the man who got into a shootout with officers at the cabin before it caught fire.

He's accused of killing four people and hurting three others as part of an apparent revenge plot for being fired from the Los Angeles Police Department.
