MADISON (WKOW) -- A Milwaukee man faces several charges after being arrested in Madison early Sunday morning.
Initially, 32-year-old Ventura Ojeda stated he did not speak English, however, when arresting officers discussed calling in a Spanish-speaking officer to translate, Ojeda changed his mind and said he could speak just fine.
The suspect was pulled over on John Nolen Drive after two legally parked vehicles were struck by a hit & run driver near Williamson and Livingston Streets. Ojeda's car was heavily damaged and he admitted to striking the parked vehicles.
He was arrested on tentative charges of operating while intoxicated, hit and run and operating without a license.
