Eau Claire (WQOW) - The Chippewa Falls School District has selected its final two candidates in the search for a new superintendent.
Brad Saron and Roger Rindo will visit the district this week for day-long interviews. Then the school board will make its decision in the coming weeks.
The board says it wants to choose a well rounded candidate who not only excels in education, but also connects with the community.
"A good quality candidate, of course, we want to be invested in our community and also have that skill set that they can work and collaborate with lots of people," says board president, Jim Dimock.
"I'm intrigued by the academic achievement that's happening in Chippewa Falls, the fiscal stability and also just the support the community serves the school district," says candidate Brad Saron.
Board members will also visit each of the candidate's hometowns to see how they operate their current district. Again, a final choice is expected in a couple of weeks.
