Eau Claire (WQOW) - An annexation for a new gas station
gets the green light from the Eau Claire
plan commission.
Kwik Trip
wants the city to annex property from the town of Washington. Kwik Trip bought the property
where Ken Stolp Auto is, near the intersection of Brian Street and Highway 93. Monday
night, the plan commission approved the annexation. It will go before the city
council next week. One city council member says a big question the council will
debate is whether the city needs another gas station. An annexation would
require eight votes from the council. That meeting is on Tuesday night at 4:00
p.m.
