Chippewa Falls (WQOW) - The Chippewa Falls School District spent Wednesday interviewing the second of its two finalists for the next superintendent of schools.
Brad Saron and Roger Rindo both made visits to the district this week for day-long interviews. The school board should make its decision in the next few weeks. The board says it wants to choose a well rounded candidate who not only excels in education, but also connects with the community.
"Chippewa Falls seems to be a community that has good schools and wants their schools to be great and more than that, are willing to take a look at the way we've taught for the last 75 years and be willing to move out of that box," says Roger Rindo, Candidate for superintendent.
Chippewa Falls School Board President, Jim Dimock says, "Both candidates come to us with similar backgrounds from smaller school districts, however they both have very unique strengths."
Board members will also visit each of the candidate's hometowns to see how they operate their current district. Again, a final choice is expected in a couple of weeks.
